Rev. Paul Elder
Rev. Paul Elder has lived in the beautiful city of Pueblo, Colorado for the past twenty one years. He has been married to his wife, Lori, for twenty-seven years, and they have been blessed with three children: Jeffrey (18), Mitchell (15), and Melody (10).
Paul has loved music since he was a child. At the age of six, he started singing with his mother and his oldest sister in a trio, and he played the trumpet, as well as the drums, throughout his teenage years. As a youth, he had the opportunity to travel to England with his school band to play for the queen, but had begun to feel the call of God wooing him into the area of ministry.
At the age of nine, Rev. Elder repented of his sins and was baptized in Jesus’ Name. When he was fifteen, the Lord filled him with the Holy Ghost, and he has never been the same. Incidentally, that was the same year the Lord called him into the ministry. He preached his first message at the age of fifteen and began evangelizing at the age of sixteen. Over the next ten years, he ministered throughout the U.S., singing and preaching in Pentecostal venues from the East Coast to the West Coast.
On January 29, 1990, Rev. Elder assumed the pastorate of Christian Growth Center in Pueblo, Colorado, and has watched God build a magnificent body of believers through a mighty revival of His Spirit. CGC has grown into a thriving, Holy Ghost-led church with incredible focus and insight into what God has and desires for the church of today.
In addition to pastoring this revival-minded church, Rev. Elder continues to work in the music ministry right along with the talented people God has called him to lead. Rev. Elder also ministers through word and song across the United States and throughout the world, including crusades in Germany and the Philippines and conferences nationwide.
Rev. Randell Williams
Rev. Randell Williams lives in Pueblo, Colorado, and he has been married to his wife, Barbara, for the past fifteen years. They have been blessed with two precious little men of God: Isaac Paul—named after Pastor Elder—(9) and Judah Leon—praise like a lion—(7).
Rev. Williams was baptized in Jesus’ Name and filled with the Holy Ghost at age fourteen and received his call to ministry a year later at a youth camp in Evergreen, Colorado. Under the tutelage and encouragement of Pastor Elder, he began to learn how to allow God to mold him and make him into a vessel He could use. At the age of fifteen, he began to preach, sing, and play various instruments, including the drums, bass guitar, and piano. While he had always been drawn to music, he became truly captivated by it as a way to worship his Savior.
Through his experiences in ministry, Rev. Williams learned that the greatest ability that he possessed was availability. He found that if he would make himself available, God would do the rest. In turn, God has enabled him to minster in various capacities throughout the United States and overseas.
Rev. Williams is currently the youth pastor and music director of Christian Growth Center. He has become a highly accomplished drummer and psalmist and is currently mastering the piano and bass, and he has sung background and opened for various recording artists, including CeCe Winans.
Rev. Williams does not consider himself as a musician or singer who happens to preach, but rather a man of God who happens to sing. To him, his music is an extension of his ministry and a reflection of who he is. He is forever grateful for this opportunity to share this part of his life and declare the unwavering love of God to all who honor Men of Judah by listening to this project.
